Cracknell

At a glance, you know what you are getting when you look through Cracknell’s Key Cards. “It was super intuitive," panelist and Knowledge Architecture Founder and CEO Christopher Parsons said. “The brand I'm getting from Cracknell is that they take the time to personalize and make it easy to navigate.”

“Our card strategy focused on aligning with our brand identity while enhancing user experience,” Cracknell’s Sameesh KelothChaladan said. “The goal was to create visually distinctive and intuitive Key Cards that simplify navigation and reinforce brand recognition.”

The Cracknell team utilized consistent design elements such as color schemes, typography, and imagery to provide an engaging and cohesive interface that resonates with their team's workflow and strengthens Cracknell’s overall branding within AVAIL.

The expert panel appreciated the care and attention Cracknell put into branding their cards. “It looks complete, and it looks loved,” Christopher added of Cracknell’s Key Card strategy.

Cracknell

Cracknell again took home the win for Best Visual Navigation. The expert panel appreciated how consistent and intuitive their AVAIL environment was. “The information flows from overall big picture to smaller cards,” panelist and Introba’s Associate Principal Digital Practice Manager Natalia Locke said.

The Cracknell team utilized Adobe Photoshop to create Key Cards that made search easier for users. “We received excellent feedback from users in our organization,” Cracknell’s Sunitha Sudarsanan said.

Natalia especially appreciated how the Cracknell team divided pictures into three different pieces and applied different graphical settings. “It's very pleasing on the eye,” she said. “There's obvious time and love that was invested in all of this.”

Most Creative

The coolest, most exciting, and inspirational design

Stride Treglown

Having recently adopted AVAIL, the architecture-design firm Stride Treglown decided to create an Advent calendar Channel to help draw attention to selected library content, as well as showcase the functionality of AVAIL's content management system (CMS). Each day, they uploaded new content to share with the firm, along with a "cryptic festive hint," Stride Treglown's Chris Charlton shared.

“The Advent calendar has helped draw attention to the software application and has also helped showcase particular types of content which we felt was worth shouting about,” Chris added.

“That's impressive,” panelist and IMEG’s Senior Virtual Design Technical Specialist Michael Edwards remarked. “That took a lot of thought.”

Panelist and AVAIL Director of Customer Success Clay Watson agreed: “It is a great way to draw attention to AVAIL and entice people.” This completely novel use for AVAIL not only gets users excited about checking what’s released each day, but also gets them in the habit of checking AVAIL so they know where they’re supposed to go to get content.

Bligh Tanner utilized Microsoft PowerPoint to create Channel Cards with clear brand identity and cues to what is within each Channel. Our expert panel appreciated the team’s branding consistency.

Hover Architecture

Promoting quick and easy navigation, Hover Architecture created their client standards Key Cards utilizing logos for simplicity and efficiency. “There's no getting lost on which cards go with which brands,” panelist Christopher Parsons said. It is very effective in helping others find what they need fast.

CBT Architects

“Architects are visually driven and more likely to use a content management system that is both beautiful and intuitive,” CBT Architects’ IT team noted. “We applied a comprehensive color scheme across channels to visually separate the overarching containers for our content.” As she had just completed templates utilizing color to distinguish content type, panelist and AVAIL Web and Graphic Designer Zoe Triantafilou appreciated this strategy in CBT Architects.
